Donation Pages

Donation pages make it easy to solicit donations for fundraisers from family, friends, and other visitors to eharvest.

Donation pages are easy to customize and edit with text, colors and images.

Home Tab

The home tab is one of three tabs on the donation page, and it is the first thing visitors will see when they visit the page.

The home tab contains all of the basic information regarding the fundraiser, including the name of the fundraiser, related websites, descriptions, images, and the donate button.

Description

Includes the fundraiser name, introduction, and description of the fundraiser so that people can become familiar with the fundraiser and its goal.

All pertinent information should be listed here, as well as any related links.

Donations

All donation pages feature a “Donate” button that’s easy to see and use.

Supporters make their donations through PayPal, an online payment service which accepts credit card or bank transfers, and can enter in their desired donation amount.

Updates Tab

The Updates tab is where the donation page owner can provide updates about the fundraiser.

Posts

Content on the Updates tab appear in a blog format, with posts featuring a title and the date it was posted. Donation page owners can include images and links in their updates.

This is a good tool to use to keep visitors and supporters informed about the progress of the fundraiser and any related news and events.

Supporters Tab

The Supporters tab is where the names and comments of supporters/donors are listed.

Supporters

The names of supporters/donors and their donation amount will appear in a list format in chronological order.

Any donations made anonymously will appear as “Anonymous”.

Comments

Supporters/donors also have the option to leave a comment and any words of encouragement when they make a donation.

These comments will be listed alongside their name and donation amount.

Side bar

The side bar of the donation page features:
  • "Donate" button
  • Fundraiser goal amount
  • Amount currently raised
  • Profile image of the donation page owner/person in charge of the fundraiser
  • Fundraiser’s website (if available)
  • Category of the fundraiser
  • Linked Facebook/Twitter pages
  • Additional images

Fundraiser Shop Pages

Fundraiser shop pages provide a way to raise money for fundraisers through the sale of goods.

Any items can be listed and all proceeds go towards the fundraiser goal.

Home Tab

The home tab is one of three tabs on the fundraiser shop page, and it’s the first thing that visitors will see when they visit the shop.

The home tab contains all of the basic information regarding the fundraiser, such as the fundraiser name, related websites, introduction and description, and the items for sale.

Sale Items

Listed sale items will appear on the home tab of the shop. Small thumbnails are shown to give visitors a preview of the items. When visitors click on a thumbnail, they will be brought to the item’s listing page, where a description of the item and cost are listed. Other information such as shipping costs, refund policies, stock, and list date are also listed.

Additional sale items can be added from the shop page or from the account > manage page > fundraiser shop page when logged in.

Updates Tab

The Updates tab is where the fundraiser shop owner can provide updates about the fundraiser.

Supporters

The names of supporters/buyers, the item they purchased and the amount they donated will appear in a list format in chronological order.

Comments

Supporters/buyers also have the option to leave a comment and any words of encouragement when they make a purchase.

These comments will be listed alongside their name and their item purchased/donation amount.

Charity Shop Pages

Charity shop pages allow crafters and artists to list and sell their handmade, original items, while donating a portion of their profits to the charities and/or fundraisers of their choice.

Charity shop owners can pledge their proceeds to current eharvest fundraisers, as well.

The home tab contains all of the basic information regarding the shop, such as the shop name, related website, introduction of the artist, description of their work, and the items for sale.

Description

Includes the shop name, introduction of the artist, and description of the work so that people can become familiar with the shop and the items.

All pertinent information should be listed here, as well as any related links. A profile image of the artist is listed alongside this information.

Sale Items

Listed sale items will appear on the home page tab of the shop.

Small thumbnails are shown to give visitors a preview of the items. When visitors click on a thumbnail, they will be brought to the item’s listing page, where a description of the item and cost are listed. Other information such as shipping costs, refund policies, stock, and list date are also listed.

Homemade/Original

Items listed in eharvest’s charity shops should be handmade, original items made by the shop owner(s) or affiliated artists and crafters.

Donation Pledge

Charity shop owners can choose which charity(ies) and/or fundraiser(s) they wish to donate to, and the percentage or amount of each sale that will be pledged. Donations can be made to current eharvest fundraisers, as well.

Donations are made through PayPal, with credit card or bank transfers.

Charities Tab

Charities and fundraisers that the shop owner has donated to will appear in the tab.

Donations

The names of the charity(ies) and/or fundraiser(s) that the charity shop owner has donated to will appear in a list in chronological order.

In addition to the name of the charity/fundraiser and date the donation was made, the amount of the donation, the sale item from which the donation came from, and any comments are also listed.
